Maiden CurlyCrown Doll - Back

So, to make the trio complete, here's Maiden CurlyCrown as well! She's also done from a Barbie doll. It was a bit easier to find one with red hair though. But I'm not pleased with her hair yet.
I tried to crimp it with a styling crimper, to get the texture of her hair, put it didn't work somehow. I have washed and braided her her, but it didn't help much either. I'm wondering it would help if I braided it again and tried it out with that hot and cold water method.....
Her dress came out a bit too long at first though. I did everything according to the pattern of the skirt I had shoosen for the dress, but still...
So I had to cut of about 6 centimeters of the skirt. Then I had to put the second row of lace back on properly.....
But it's better that way, definitely!
Again, the bow and it's ribbons where sewn on by hand.
I also didn't make this skirt to layered, like on the pictures.
I've settle for faking it.
The skirt is made of different parts of fabrik. At the one where the second layer should be visible I've put the lace on the fabric to fake the impression of
another layer underneath.

I like how she turned out, even though sewing her dress gave me a bit of trouble. Repeatedly I had to cut an resew the parts of the skirt, because I had put it together the wrong way....
